Charles Wood Festival at Glenarm

As part of our Centenary celebrations marking 100 years since the death of Charles Wood, the Charles Wood Festival is delighted to present a new partnership with BBC Radio 3, bringing a weekend of exceptional music-making to the beautiful village of Glenarm. From 28–30 August, three internationally acclaimed recitalists will perform in the stunning surroundings of St Patrick's Church of Ireland, Glenarm. Each recital will be recorded for future broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and will be accompanied by one of Britain's leading collaborative pianists, Simon Lepper, Professor of Collaborative Piano at the Royal College of Music, London.
Alongside the BBC Radio 3 recordings, the Festival is also presenting a free lunchtime recital in the unique setting of the Coach House at Glenarm Castle, celebrating the rich tradition of Irish song.
Whether you are a lover of art song, opera or simply looking for a memorable musical weekend on the Causeway Coast, Glenarm provides the perfect setting to enjoy world-class performances.
