For more than thirty years, the Charles Wood Festival has brought together singers, musicians, composers and audiences from across Ireland and beyond. Through concerts, competitions, educational programmes and community events, we celebrate the legacy of Armagh-born composer Charles Wood while creating opportunities for future generations.
Ticket sales and course fees cover only a portion of the Festival's costs. Donations from individuals, Friends of the Festival, trusts, foundations and corporate supporters play a vital role in helping us maintain artistic excellence, support young musicians and keep our events accessible to all.
Your support helps us to:
-
Provide bursaries and scholarships for young singers and musicians
-
Commission and perform new music
-
Deliver educational workshops, competitions and masterclasses
-
Present world-class concerts and broadcasts
-
Support community outreach and care home performances
-
Preserve and promote the musical legacy of Charles Wood
Whether you choose to make a one-off donation, become a Friend of the Festival, leave a legacy gift or support us as a sponsor, your contribution will make a lasting difference.
Together, we can ensure that Charles Wood's music and legacy continue to inspire future generations.
